Facial Rejuvenation explained

Facial Rejuvenation is a step-by-step facial similar to Glow Face. The difference is that different devices are used for the serum infusion steps. After assessing your skin, the doctor chooses the serum and device that suit your needs. It aims to improve brightness, firmness, evenness and overall skin quality. How many sessions you need, and the gap between them, is decided with you based on your skin and goals.

Who it suits

01

Skin that looks dull or tired

02

Fine lines and skin that has lost some firmness

03

Uneven skin tone and anyone wanting better overall skin quality

Please tell the doctor before treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin infection or wounds, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, have metal implants in the face, are allergic to any ingredient, or have taken isotretinoin recently. Because the things to avoid depend on the devices used, the doctor will explain this in detail.

What to expect

1

Consultation and cleansing

The doctor asks about your skin, health, medicines and goals, examines your skin, and cleanses it.

2

Results and recovery

Results

Over time you may notice your skin looking brighter, smoother and fresher. When results appear and how long they last depend on the serum and devices used, the number of sessions and your own skin. Results cannot be guaranteed.

Recovery and side effects

Most people return to normal activities straight away. Your skin may be slightly red or feel tight for about the first 24 hours. Avoid the sun and use sunscreen. The doctor will explain what to expect for you beforehand.

Possible side effects

Side effects depend on the devices used. In most people they are mild and temporary.

  • Redness, warmth, tightness or dryness of the skin
  • Tingling, mild stinging or warmth while a device is used
  • Skin sensitivity, itching, or a few small pimples in the days after treatment
  • Rarely, an allergic reaction, a skin burn or infection may occur. If you have difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or a severe widespread rash, go to a hospital straight away.

Results vary from person to person.
